Taft Street Winery is excited to announce a third season of our summer music series – A LITTLE STREET MUSIC. On the second and last Sunday of the month from May through September some of Sonoma County’s most popular bands will perform in our outdoor picnic area.
On September 14, we welcome Doug Blumer and the Bohemian Highway. Doug Blumer born and raised on the banks of the Mississippi River in Southern Missouri. His musical education included equal parts Buck Owens and The Beatles with dashes of bluegrass, gospel and folk. After a stint in the Navy, which included playing in a band on board his ship and in several different countries, he relocated to northern California. The Bohemian Highway was formed in 2011. Doug’s wife of over 20 years, Nancy, joins him on acoustic guitar and vocals. The current performing line-up includes: Kent Fossgreen – bass, Jane Fossgreen – vocals, percussion.
Note: McKenna Faith Band was cancelled due to a recording conflict in Nashville.
The events are free. The Tasting Room opens at 11am, with music from 3pm to 6pm. All our Tasting Room exclusives are available for purchase by the glass or bottle. Bring a picnic and we’ll supply the wine. Enjoy the summer – Taft Street Style.
Help us make A LITTLE STREET MUSIC a summer tradition.
